Picture Jobs Network

PJs is a service which receives job/project listings from employers seeking experienced freelance or staff personnel, and forwards them to experienced professionals seeking new or additional work. The service is run by 15-year photo-industry veteran Jody Potter, who began freelancing three years ago and, while often inundated with requests, frequently finds herself extending leads to other qualified candidates. While a few other similar networks exist to serve the creative industry, there is as yet no service uniquely representing the photo world —- to the ongoing lament of those seeking immediate help and those seeking to put their talents to work.

The service is free of charge. Its purpose is to function as an information exchange, and not as a staffing agency. Listings will be forwarded via email, and those applying for positions will then contact employers directly.

To post a job listing:
Email: listings(at)pjsnetwork(dot)com. Include a brief description of the job, experience requirements, and specific information on how you would like applicants to contact you. All paying jobs may be listed, including temporary, permanent, part-time, full-time, freelance, and staff. No internships, please.

To receive job listings:
Email a brief note with your resume to: professionals(at)pjsnetwork(dot)com. You must have at least three solid years experience on the business end of photography to receive listings.

Please note:This network is intended to serve the “business” end of photography research, editing, production, sales, art buying, management, consulting, etc. It will not service the market for photographers or photographers’ assistants.
