Photographers can submit photos to appear on their Fall travel cover (here) and the winner will receive a week-long all-expenses-paid trip for two to Austria. That seems quite a bit better then the usual space rates for cover photography. Deadline is July 31st.

It all sounds good until you get to the fine print. Any photo that I think would be good enough to post on my website or to send to a stock outlet would be disqualified for entry.
That means that a series of blog post I’ve been writing on shooting in some of the most photographed places to support a travel class I’m teaching will be disqualified. If I had just returned from a trip I might consider entering.
