i havent been selling them—this never even occurred to me…not how my brain works—but i am currently working on two sites that will eventually produce a book of the images. electriclion.blogspot.com is a daily photo blog and poptpop.com is an ongoing-but-not-daily place to show Pictures of people taking pictures of people.

so selling every day..no. selling all together, likely.

I started a photoblog in 2003 with the goal of posting an image a day, or something close to it. I think I only made the every day goal one month, but I did post consistently for a year or two. At that point I started to slide as I was doing more regular shooting work.

I never sold prints, but I know some other early photobloggers who did.

A photo a day would be wonderful, but I have not been able to do that each and every day. I do try to post an image for each weekday. Some are from recent jobs, some are from my files, and more and more, I’m trying to shoot something specifically for my blog. Keeps me thinking. A photographer in Brooklyn, Bill Wadman, did a project last year where he shot a portrait a day and plans to publish a book… http://www.365portraits.com Great idea and had to be difficult to pull off!

I think photo-a-day is a great way to get better at shooting. A few years ago, I was part of the very supportive and inspiring PAD group on Pbase.com. It was a great learning experience. But now, it seems my day job is just too demanding to keep it up. I never thought about selling the images, though. How much should somebody charge for such prolific art production?

I have a photo blog that I’ve been doing for a couple years now.

I shoot for a photo a day, but lately it’s been more like a photo every couple weeks. (it’s been a really busy year)

I’ve sold a couple prints, but not a lot. Every so often I do a trivia contest with a photo and the winner gets a free print. It’s fun. It’s amazing how fast people answer when they could win something for free.

I’ve been doing a daily Polaroid since August 30 and posting them to my blog: blog.camdenhardy.com

I’m not really sure what I’ll be doing with the project in the long term, but I felt that I needed to pay one last homage to Polaroid before the 669 supply runs out forever. I’ll be doing the daily Polaroid for as long as I can buy film.

I have definitely thought about it. Not an image a day (I print platinum/palladium right now so it would be more like one or two images a week) but much the same idea. I just had a print sale, maybe I will hold off for a month or so and then give it a try.
