I do believe in the power of bearing witness, but I see it more as responsibility to ourselves… I do have a real problem with the assumption that photographers can change the world by telling these “truths”.

I am not sure it’s an assumption so much as a hope.
While very few photographers do actually get to draw a line between their work and an observable outcome, there are just enough examples to give life to that hope.
Amazing that he is only 27. A truly great young photographer.
