Hugh! I met him at a dive bar down in Alpine, TX (pop. 4,000)
We chit-chatted for quite awhile. Towards the end of the night he handed me a little white card that read, “The best bit of business advice I can give you is this: find out what a blog is and then get one.”

Most of this business 101 stuff is nice to know and quote but kind of worthless for photographers who wanna establish their visual language. Yeah nice to have it in the back of your head but aren’t a lot of really successful photographers ingnoring these rules?

You have to work hard , yes – I would follow that rule. That includes not wasting too much TIME with making the lives of PE and Art directors easier.

I wonder if they’ll take free meteors, though. Wait, who goes extinct under that plan?
