It used to be said that the people you should avoid working for are those that know the price of everything and the value of nothing. Unfortunately nowadays a vast majority want the value element but aren't prepared to pay for it. I can't remember the last time I had a decent budget to work with....oh hang on.... 2006... I hear a lot more “that’ll do” nowadays.
