this is like bashing photos in a cafe. the show sucked bigtime, but I’m not going to beat on the photos/photogs…
Actually, what she is saying is the show did not suck big time, she loved it. She does not like obviously canvas, hdr, gallery wraps – but she doesn’t name names or point fingers. So who is beating on whom?
Oil painting was a large portion of the work leading to my BFA. It pains me to see photography printed onto canvas and wrapped up like a painting, yet people do buy this stuff.
HAHAHA! I am working on an HDR portfolio right now.
Note to self: Return canvas photo paper to Samy’s first thing in the morning.
