What's the stage where you outgrow calling people faggots? (Look a bit to the left of the center of the graph to see what I'm referring to.)

LOL It is very funny and interesting. I would like to know what data sets and sources which were used to compile the graph.

To me the time line could be months or decades or centuries. I think it depends on the photographers outlook towards life as a whole.

@Wasted Time, haha, I don't think the "Time" axis is necessarily measured that way. The order is about right though.

@Ian Aleksander Adams,

>>I definitely feel like I’ve hit that 40% confidence flatline, which I think is a healthy place to be for a working artist.

Except, at least according to this chart, that means you're almost dead! That doesn't sound all that healthy to me. ;^)

Amusing.
Wonder who created the chart.
Where's the "photography" though? (This seems to be stages of a digital imager).
From inception to death in 5 years?

How odd. They seem to have overlooked the point on the graph line where the photographer launches a personal website pitching their skills as a casual-yet-classy lifestyle-wedding-baby photographer.

Had my zoom lens with me while hanging out yesterday. Took a few spring flower pix. Then deleted them all. I don't just want to be a flower photographer! Then captured the reflection of palm trees on the hood of a red Ferrari. So Beverly Hills! Funny graph. Thanks.

Its unfortunate that we tend to measure our worth based on what projects we are or are not shooting at the moment. I would say this graph points out how much of our success in this industry depends on mental fortitude above all else. Just like a marathon can be more about mental strength than how good of a runner you are, its how well you tolerate pain.

haha, yeah, this seems relatively accurate.

I definitely feel like I've hit that 40% confidence flatline, which I think is a healthy place to be for a working artist.

To say nothing of projected confidence.
