That makes two quotes in the last month, from top-notch veterans, who say an actual print is the end goal.
I like where this going.
It has always been about the print. It has gotten to the point that that is all I care about. Whether it is from the darkroom the chemical one or digital. I have made more prints lately than I have made new negatives.
I recently purchased Mr. Smith’s book “The End” printed by my very good friend Kim Blanchette at Blanchette Press and it is stunning! While not a traditional print as such, it gives hope for the future that print is not dead.
