The middle spread is sublime. The call and response between the black and light pink colored type on the left page — wow. I’m not a type design groupie or anything, but I might ask for an autograph :) — over the top good. Has a retro 60′s vintage feel. Great photo — the subject looks so alone. The direction of the light, the “Rembrandt” triangle on the right (viewer) cheek, pushing the highlights and shadows just a tad over the edge — love it all. Kudos! The expression on Barker’s face, it’s almost as though he was lost in thought for a moment — really fits the opening sentence perfectly.
