There are plenty of brilliant and brave people who are not particularly compassionate,” he says. “Tim was truly all three and it made for an absolutely extraordinary person.”

That’s what got him dead.
Most people let their fear get in the way of living. I tend to think it’s better to live well like he did and leave such a legacy than to cling to a wasted life until you inevitably fizzle out after 80 years.
