This Is Beautiful

I will say this: As hard as it is to write about beauty, being in its presence is so gratifying – provided you give yourself permission to just do that.

That’s sort of the whole point of visual art: if the feelings could be described and imparted with words, then we’d be writing novels instead of making photographs. It’s the things that can’t be done any other way that count.
