Wow! Nice to have some good news, for once. Let’s hope it’s only the beginning.
Some of my friends in NYC told me they never had better work opportunities in years lately… It might take some time before we can enjoy it in Vegas too :)
While an improvement, the numbers behind the numbers will also show cost savings at agencies providing some boost. I have stock in InterPublic Group, a competitor to WPP, Publicis, and Omnicom, and to read the financial reports tells a tail of slow turnaround. Definitely improving conditions, though for those of us who are vendors to these companies, the changes will happen even more slowly. I am hopefully, realistic, but not optimistic.
