What Is England Project

Stuart Pilkington, founder of the 50 states project–which I think is such a fantastic idea–is launching a project for 2010 entitled “What Is England?” He’s looking for 46 photographers, each based in one of the counties in England he’s got listed, to take 6 images in 2010 that will represent the photographers style and the county where they live.

Stuart also was the founder and leader of the Alphabet Project, which brought together photographers from all over the world (including me) to respond with photographs to tasks set by each photographer using the alphabet as a guide. See more at .

My favourite from 50states is Steve Davis up here in Washington State.
