Ten percent of all of the photographs made in the entire history of photography were made last year — an astounding figure. More than ever before, thanks in part to cell phone technology, the world is engaged with photography and communicating through pictures. Nonetheless, a great photograph will rise above all the others.

Amazing photos especially the ones from France and Sudan…although I don’t understand America’s fascination with their President especially when its just a photo of him leaning up against a wall and not doing anything particularly funny or interesting.

And yes, Obama’s pic is total fluff.
John, it’s not American who chose that photo of Obama… It was Time. It’s the media who has the obsession with Obama.
